De Temps en Temps is an artistic and scientific creation that explores the perception of time in physics and music, including quantum mechanics, featuring the female quartet DoniSSi and live interventions from Yasmine Amhis, Scientific Coordinator of the LHCb experiment at CERN.
How is time measured? How is time organised in music? In what current experiments is time an essential parameter in explaining observed phenomena? These are just a few of the questions this talk seeks to answer.
The performance will also honour the International Day of Women and Girls in Science by inspiring the next generation of scientists, including through opening remarks by Enrica Porcari, Head of Information Technology at CERN.
