Inclusion Matters.

Creating an inclusive work environment means more than attracting diverse talent, it means ensuring that everyone can thrive, contribute, and feel valued in their daily work. At CERN, it is not only what we achieve that matters, but how we work together to achieve it.

Building on the momentum of the “25 by ’25” initiative (25 by ’25 initiative: diversity progress at CERN | CERN),” Inclusion Matters.” marks the next step in strengthening diversity and inclusion across the Organisation. Strongly supported by the Senior Management, the initiative focuses on sustaining the diversity we attract and embedding inclusion into our everyday practices.

50 Inc.”, a series of concrete inclusion actions, is the flagship project under Inclusion Matters. It aims to create a cumulative impact: each action, however small, is intended to make a meaningful difference to at least one community or individual while strengthening a shared sense of belonging across CERN.

Together, these commitments support the Director General’s vision for CERN as a beacon of scientific inclusivity.
