The Diversity & Inclusion Roundtable, established in 2018 and chaired by the Diversity & Inclusion Programme, brings together representatives from various network and associations across CERN who are actively engaged in diversity-related activities.
Every two months the participants come together to discuss topics of shared concern and to explore ideas on diverse and inclusive workplaces. In short, the members seek to find shared solutions to shared challenges. The discussion resulted in “D&I Policy Recommendations” for CERN management.
The Roundtable affords the Diversity & Inclusion Programme a valuable opportunity to become more aware of the D&I-related issues affecting our colleagues across the Organization, including those working in the collaborations.
The Roundtable includes representatives from:
- ATLAS
- CMS
- LHCb
- ALICE
- Other Experiments representative
- Diversity and Inclusion Officers
- Women in Technology (WIT)
- LGBTQ Network
- Disability Network
- Supporting Neurodiversity at CERN (SNAC)
- Staff Association
The D&I Programme chairs each session.
